Privacy Policy

In short

Papômetro reads the chat you export from WhatsApp right on your iPhone. No message is ever sent to a server, ours or any other company's.

What the app reads

Only the .zip or .txt file you pick or share with Papômetro. From it, the app reads the dates, the names as they appear in the chat, the text of the messages and the notes WhatsApp leaves in place of media (voice message, photo, sticker). The app never opens voice messages, photos or videos.

What the app keeps

Only the recap: the numbers, the participants' names, the most used emojis and words, the first message and the biggest laugh. It stays in the app's storage on your iPhone. The app deletes the file it gets from WhatsApp right after reading it.

What we don't collect

Papômetro has no accounts, uses no analytics tools, shows no ads, doesn't track you across apps and doesn't sell data. It doesn't access your contacts, your location or your photos. A card goes to your photo library only when you tap Save Image.

Purchases

Apple handles all payments. The app only receives confirmation that a purchase exists, never your card details.

When you share

A card leaves the app only when you tap Share. It shows the names and numbers of other people in the chat, so share it with people who were in the chat or with their consent.

Your rights

Your data stays only on your device, so you are in full control of it. To delete everything, use Settings › Delete All Editions or uninstall the app.

Age

Papômetro is not meant for children under 13.
